3.1 For Customers:

• Respond to electricians in a timely manner
• Pay agreed-upon fees directly to the electrician
• Use the platform in good faith

3.2 For Electricians:

• Maintain valid licenses and certifications
• Provide accurate business information
• Respond to quote requests professionally
• Deliver quality service to customers
• Comply with all applicable electrical regulations

4. Platform Usage

You agree NOT to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the platform for illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent platform fees or processes
• Scrape, copy, or misuse platform data
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts

5. WhatsApp Communications

By using our service, you consent to receive WhatsApp notifications about:

• Quote requests and responses
• Service updates
• Important platform announcements

You can opt out at any time by replying "STOP" or updating your preferences.

6. Payment Terms

• Customers pay electricians directly for services rendered
• ElectrFinder does not process payments between customers and electricians
• Any disputes about pricing should be resolved directly between parties
• Platform fees (if applicable) are separate from service costs

7. Liability and Disclaimers

ElectrFinder is a connection platform only. We:

• Do NOT employ electricians
• Do NOT guarantee the quality of electrical work
• Do NOT assume liability for services performed
• Do NOT guarantee availability of electricians

Important: Electricians are independent contractors. You engage them at your own risk. Verify credentials and get written quotes before proceeding with work.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on ElectrFinder (logos, text, design, code) is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse other users
• Provide false information

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute:

• With another user: Resolve directly with them first
• With ElectrFinder: Contact us at support@electricianfinder.co.za
• Legal disputes: Governed by South African law, Cape Town jurisdiction

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any legal action must be brought in Cape Town courts.
